Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution

Lighter and slower

But you have to take it seriously, the Hennessey Venom F5; the Americans have just delivered the 10th model. And it really is fascinating: 6.6 litre cast iron V8, central camshaft, two turbos in parallel – and as a result 1842 hp. Weighing just 1360 kilos, the hypercar wants to accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds – and should theoretically reach a top speed of 534 km/h in top gear. It would therefore be the fastest automobile in the world, but this has not yet been proven. The Americans want to increase step by step, so far 437.1 km/h have been certified, the next step should be 480 km/h – on a public road.

24 of the “normal” F5 are to be built at a price of 2.1 million dollars. Last summer, the Roadster was presented, 3 million, 30 units. And now the Revolution has been added, which is designed for use on the racetrack (but is also available with road approval). A mighty rear spoiler is supposed to provide more downforce, but this then has a negative effect on the top speed. Oh yes, the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution (24 units, 2.7 million dollars) will also be a few kilos lighter.

We have more hypercars here and in our archive.
