Sold via Collecting Cars in June 2024 for $1,502,000, with the following details: “This F40 has been owned by the seller for nine years and has 22,938 km on the odometer. The car was originally delivered to Japan and has since been exported to Thailand, where it is now being offered for sale. Originally painted in Rosso Corsa, this example is now finished in black, while the interior features light red fabric-covered bucket seats and ‘Vicuna’ fabric trim for the dashboard. It rides on black 18-inch magnesium Speedline wheels fitted with Continental ExtremeContact tyres. Features include manual windows, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a heated windscreen and air conditioning.

  Service history:
• The car was last serviced in July 2023 at 22,786 kilometres by Auto Italia Bangkok. This included replacement of the engine oil and filter, coolant and alternator.
• Auto Italia had previously serviced the car in May 2021 at 22,197 km and in May 2018 at 21,790 km, replacing the transmission oil, spark plugs and overhauling all eight fuel injectors. A new fuel pump was installed.
• All four tyres were replaced in 2017 at 21,590 km, meaning they have only covered around 1,500 km since then.
• A new air conditioning compressor and a new condenser were installed in 2016.
