We are heroes
The name Rafale, reminiscent of France’s prestigious aeronautical industry, refers to the history of the Caudron-Renault Rafale low-wing monoplane, which set a speed record of 445 km/h in 1934. With this heritage, the Rafale combines modern design and bold handling to create a new icon in the Renault family. Luca de Meo, CEO of the Renault Group, explains the Rafale as follows: ‘With the Rafale, we are positioning ourselves at the top end of the market. This SUV coupé appeals to real emotions and sets new standards in technology and design.’

The new Rafale impresses with a 200 hp E-Tech hybrid drive that offers an outstanding power-to-efficiency ratio. Even more interesting for Switzerland is the 300 hp E-Tech 4×4 variant, which also has permanent all-wheel drive thanks to a new electric motor on the rear axle. The intelligent multi-mode automatic transmission ensures optimal interaction of the powertrains and allows adaptation to driving conditions to maximise driving pleasure.

‘A good design must be convincing from every distance – from the first glance to the last detail,’ explains Alexis Martot, head of exterior design at Renault. The Rafale is 4.71 metres long, 1.86 metres wide and 1.61 metres high, providing ideal proportions for a sporty SUV. Inside, the Rafale offers generous space and modern, high-tech equipment. With the innovative Solarbay panoramic glass roof, which can be darkened at the push of a button, and a well-thought-out cockpit, every journey becomes an experience. The interior also impresses with high-quality materials, including recycled Alcantara and natural fabrics such as cork and slate.
