You can put a few things in context. Last week Peugeot – Stellantis – presented its Inception Concept, and at the same time RAM – also Stellantis – presented its 1500 Revolution Concept. No, the two vehicles are not really alike, but yes, they are based on the same STLA platform. But while Peugeot provides a few technical details – 800 V architecture, 100 kWh battery, 800 kilometre range – the Americans are still holding back on their pick-up. Instead, they tell us more about software solutions – and then you can add up 1+1, because these will certainly also be used for the future Peugeot (and other Stellantis products).

(The only company we can’t quite classify in this game is Maserati. We can probably assume that Folgore is also STLA, but that the Italians have taken a little initiative there. We don’t know yet how exactly it all fits together, but there’s still a little time left).

By the way, the RAM 1500 Revolution looks pretty cool. Faster than the Ford F-150 Lightning. And not as crazy as Tesla’s cyber truck. It should be exciting in the most important segment in the USA – where, by the way, in 2022 the F-150 was the best-selling car of the year for the 43rd time in a row.
