Black/White
This BMW 328 was delivered to the Magdeburg BMW dealer Walter Dingel, himself a well-known racing driver, on 6 April 1939. We know that the car was originally white, but we know nothing of its history until the early 2000s, when the BMW was in the possession of the well-known collector Dr Matthew Sell, who also ordered a complete restoration at the time. We also know that #85377 no longer has the original engine.
The car will be auctioned by Broad Arrow at Amelia Island in March 2025, with an expected price of $550,000 to $750,000. Otherwise, there is the archive.
