Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Abu Dhabi 2025, Schätzpreis 850’000 bis 1’200’000 Dollar, mit diesen Informationen: «From the limited run of 500 cars, offered here is the 48th example. Configured predominantly with Alaskan Diamond White paintwork, the exterior is accented by exquisite, exposed carbon fibre for the front splitter, at the base of the windscreen scuttle, engine venting system, swanneck rear wing, and diffuser. Blue flashes then draw the eye to the active inboard front winglets, the rear wing endplates, brake callipers, plus the centre-locking wheel nuts. Opening the butterfly doors, with their novel glazed side panels that improve visibility, reveals a black Alcantara interior accompanied by blue stitching and carbon fibre trim. The specification of this McLaren Senna further stretches to aluminium switchgear and blue race-style harnesses and blue struts for the doors, which are operated by overhead toggles. Built in July 2018, chassis number 048 was delivered new via McLaren Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on 11 February 2019. Retained by its sole owner ever since, and very sparingly driven, the Senna displayed a remarkable 385 kilometres on the odometer at the time of cataloguing. It benefits from an October 2025 service and multi-point inspection (available to view on file) performed by McLaren Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, the car is supplied with owner’s guides and service book, first aid kit, a cover, plus battery charger.»

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Arizona 2021, verkauft für 1’044’000 Dollar, mit diesen Informationen: «This McLaren Senna offered here is the 95th example produced; it is a uniquely specified example which incorporates over $360,000 USD of bespoke and optional equipment, as confirmed by its original window sticker. The stunning Visual Carbon Fiber bodywork—replete with Burton Blue highlights—is merely the tip of this Senna’s outrageous, one-off specification. The cockpit of this Senna is awash with alcantara, exposed carbon fiber, and the same Burton Blue details, effortlessly unifying the exterior and interior color schemes. A journey across the matte carbon sills of the Senna’s Monocage structure reveals a pair of track-focused seats wrapped in black alcantara and Burton Blue contract stitching; a pair of color-matched harnesses slide out from behind each seat’s carbon fiber shell to meet their respective occupants. A similarly specified carbon and alcantara steering wheel fronts a digital display capable of displaying information generated by the optional McLaren Track Telemetry package. Each of this Senna’s carbon and alcantara-trimmed doors is fitted with a distinctive, tinted pane of inset Gorilla glass and hinged by a custom-specified door strut. Outside, those impressive carbon ceramic brakes are fitted with massive calipers in the matched shade of blue; the same can be said for the leading edge of the active, variable drag-inducing rear wing and static “aerovanes.” Additional notable trimmings include the engine bay heat shielding—executed in 24 karat gold plate—as well as the fitment of a glass panel in the rear bulkhead (presumably for better visibility over stock). This is truly a custom-specified car; the inclusion of every surface, finish, and element has been done with purposeful intent. The consignor has sparingly and carefully enjoyed this Senna since taking delivery at Beverly Hills McLaren on 30 September 2018. Just one month later, the car received a full exterior paint protection regimen applied by Solar Transmission Management of Los Angeles, California. In August 2019 its requisite first year service was executed by Beverly Hills McLaren, then indicating 229 miles; it returned for its second-year service in September 2020 then showing 410 miles. Presently, its odometer displays fewer than 500 miles from new.»

Further, the car sports the optional perimeter pack, with orange accents lining the sinister carbon finish. Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Private Sales, 995’000 Euro, mit diesen Informationen: «Purchased new by the consignor in September of 2018 via McLaren Geneva, this Senna is the 218th example constructed of just 500 built. Its stunning paintwork, called Liquid Alloy Silver, is a shade offered exclusively via McLaren Special Operations and seldom seen on any Senna due to its extreme cost and complexity. The wheels are finished in black alongside McLaren Orange brake calipers, while the interior is trimmed in Carbon Black Alcantara with McLaren Orange stitching and seat belts, providing a contrasting touch. In early 2019, the car was covered in full paint protection film in an effort to preserve its spectacular paintwork. Invoices on file show that the car has been serviced at McLaren Geneva, with the third- and fourth-year services carried out in February 2023 and the fifth-year service carried out in October 2024.»

Auktion: Artcurial, Paris 2025, Schätzpreis 950’000 bis 1’150’000 Euro, mit diesen Informationen: «One owner, less than 1980km from new, a special colour scheme: these three attributes make this McLaren Senna an exceptional car. Ordered on 23 November 2017, it was supplied new on 31 May 2019 to its first and only owner, an enthusiast who was a great lover of supercars but also a collector of historic cars. It had several options, including special wheels and a Bower & Wilkins hi-fi system, but above all, a distinctive colour scheme at the request of its owner, inspired by the McLaren specially prepared for Fernando Alonso at what he said would be his last Grand Prix, at Abu Dhabi in November 2018. The orange and blue livery of his single-seater was taken from his helmet and were a tribute to the province of Asturias, in northern Spain, his home region. The bodywork of this McLaren Senna features the same bright orange, with ‘Burton Blue’ accents for the roof, rear wing, brake callipers and some of the air scoops … The overall effect is very striking! This splendid car was serviced by McLaren Monaco in 2023 at 1578km and then again in December 2024 at 1950km.»

McLaren Senna GTR
Chassis-Nummer: SBM15ACB8KW990007

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, München 2025, verkauft für 905’000 Euro, mit diesen Informationen: «This Senna GTR—internal prototype designation ‘VP798’—was constructed at McLaren’s Woking factory in March 2019 as the first such example completed. Following an initial shakedown test at Sywell Aerodrome, it was readied for the model’s public debut at the 77th Goodwood Members’ Meeting in early April, where it was demonstrated by Ayrton’s nephew—ex-HRT, Renault, and Williams F1 driver Bruno Senna. As poignant moments go, few can surpass the sight of the iconic Senna crash helmet appearing behind the wheel of a McLaren at Goodwood, the circuit at which the team’s eponymous founder tragically perished some 49 years previously. Following its successful Goodwood bow, ‘VP798’ underwent further development at McLaren’s Idiada testing facility near Barcelona, prior to additional testing and marketing engagements at Silverstone, Portimão, and the Goodwood Festival of Speed. At the latter, the car was entrusted to Bruno once again. With its development phase complete, the prototype ‘VP798’ entered storage in November 2019. Its chassis is reported to have covered some 25,000 kilometres by this stage. Following a hiatus of 18 months, the car returned to Woking in May 2021 for sympathetic recommissioning, which included the fitment of a replacement development-specification Senna GTR powertrain and the renewal of its dampers, brake discs, and brake pads. Subsequently purchased by a Britain-based collector in June 2021, it was later acquired by the consigning owner. Boasting a direct link to the Senna family and genuine McLaren “ex-Works” status, ‘VP798’ represents arguably the most significant of all Senna GTRs.»

Chassis-Nummer: SBM15TCB5LW825013 (2020)

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Monaco 2024, verkauft für 1’450’625 Euro, mit diesen Informationen: «The ‘LM 25’ series by Lanzante built upon McLaren’s contemporary supercar line-up from 2020, spanning coupé and spider models from the marque’s Sports, Super, and Ultimate Series. Only seven LM 25-specification models have been built – one to represent each of the F1s that started the 1995 endurance event – and each of the seven models is based on a different model or body style, making each one a one-off example. The Senna GTR LM 25 offered here sports discreet ‘LM 25’ decals on its outer body shell, and Tokyo Ueno Clinic sponsor branding tucked behind its dihedral-opening doors on the outer carbon fibre monocoque tub, once more in homage to chassis 01R. The race number ‘59’ is covertly etched through the Senna GTR’s lower door glass, emulating the Le Mans-winning McLaren. The interior of the newer car is further inspired by its race-going forebear with carbon fibre-backed seats designed to replicate those of the F1 GTR, customised with ‘LM 25’ logos on the headrest, and retaining the driver and passenger with blue Willans race harnesses, as used in the race car. Further details continue to impress with drilled gold pedals, carbon fibre steering wheel with paddle-shift levers, and various other subtle references to the 1995 win seen throughout, including a faithful rendition of the scrutineering decal on the rear bulkhead. The kerb weight of the Lanzante-enhanced car is understood to be some 41 kilograms lighter than McLaren’s own version of the car, while the limited-run model retains the same awe-inspiring 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V-8 for a return of 814 horsepower. Ordered by its first owner in August 2020, this car was duly converted by Lanzante, not only elevated to ‘LM 25’ specification, but also to UK road legal compliance (at build, the GTR is intended for ‘track-only’ use hence additional conversion is required). It was then delivered to Germany via McLaren Paris in March 2021. Original purchase invoices are available to view on file including one for comprehensive paint protection film. The car has since returned to Lanzante’s Petersfield workshop for routine maintenance, noted for a 5,000-kilometre service in July 2022 (when the odometer read only 1,620 kilometres) and once more in September 2023, at which point a service was carried out and four tyres were replaced at a total cost of £10,316 (the odometer then read 1,731 kilometres). In June 2023, the McLaren appeared at the London Concours and took the overall winner’s prize on the event’s Supercar Award. The Senna GTR ‘LM 25’ is accompanied by folders containing paperwork and a flight case that includes driver and passenger intercom headsets, and centre-lock wheel removal tool.»

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Paris 2023, verkauft für 1’602’500 Euro, mit diesen Informationen: «Just 20 Senna LMs were produced, and only seven were painted in the Papaya Orange of this example. Inside, the Senna LM’s Papaya Orange theme continued in parts of the trim and lightweight carbon fibre seats, also extending to the steering wheel, running through the top-centre section of the rim. This example is a European-specification car built in left-hand drive and has covered only 43 kilometres at the time of cataloguing.»

McLaren Senna GTR LM
Chassis-Nummer: SBM15TCB0LW008256

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, London 2024, Schätzpreis 1’6 bis 2 Millionen Pfund, mit diesen Informationen: «The left-hand-drive example offered here was finished as a tribute to F1 GTR chassis 06R. Emblazoned with the distinctive yellow and green Harrods colour scheme and wearing race number 51, that car was the second McLaren to reach the chequered flag at the Circuit de la Sarthe—behind the victorious 01R ran by the Lanzante team. Entered by Mach One Racing and expertly driven by Andy Wallace, Derek Bell, and Justin Bell, the British trio completed the podium in 3rd place. They might even have claimed victory had a gearbox gremlin two hours from the finish not forced Wallace to ease the car over the line. Accordingly, this car is presented in Solar Yellow over Heritage Green, while McLaren sought special permission from the race organiser, Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), and period sponsors to authentically recreate the unmistakable livery. Indeed, this was the first time that the famous Harrods logo had been seen on a McLaren for 25 years. The design was then hand painted over the course of more than 800 hours. The only piece of vinyl to feature on the body is a replica of the scrutineering sticker from Le Mans in 1995, which is applied on the roof. Further exterior flourishes include the five-spoke OZ Racing wheels (original supplier of the F1 GTR wheels) finished in a Matte Dark Graphite shade and optional satin carbon fibre accent panels. Meanwhile, the callipers for the carbon ceramic brakes and suspension wishbones were painted gold in a nod to the original F1 GTRs. At the back, the Senna GTR LM gained a special twin-exit pipe Inconel exhaust system exhaling below the rear wing. Consigned to auction by its original and sole owner, this car was the only one of the five Senna GTR LMs delivered new to the United Kingdom. It was then twice exhibited at the prestigious Salon Privé held at Blenheim Palace in September 2020 and again in August 2023. Showing 1,003 kilometres from new at the time of cataloguing, the car is complemented by an additional ‘standard’ Senna GTR engine (number 40JBAH150679) only ever used on the McLaren dyno, plus a set of wet-weather wheels and tyres. Please note, road-legal conversion of the car might be possible.»
