Ferrari F40 – #94647

Umdenken

Mit diesen Informationen: «Completed on 29 July 1992 in the F40’s signature Rosso Corsa over Stoffa Vigogna, chassis 94647 is an Italian-market car distributed via Motor S.p.A. in Modena. It was sold just days after its completion to its first owner, flamboyant Bolognese nightlife impresario Paolo Pazzaglia, who added over 5,000 spirited kilometers (~3,106 miles) before parting with it in mid-1993. The car remained in Bologna with documented care until its export to England in early 1998. In the UK, 94647 passed through a series of devoted custodians—including television presenter Paul Martin—where it is reported to have remained serviced and enjoyed. In 2021, a bold vision emerged: to reimagine this F40 as a bespoke celebration of performance and individuality. To complete this daring evolution, 94647 was entrusted to the UK-based supercar authorities at Furlonger Specialist Cars. At the heart of its transformation lies a rare Michelotto-developed F40 LM racing gearbox, paired with enhanced turbo wastegates and a Tubi exhaust system to unleash the model’s legendary soundtrack. Further upgrades include a KW fully adjustable suspension with lift kit, improved air conditioning, and 355-millimeter Brembo GT brakes which necessitated enlarging the car’s signature wheels to 18 inches. This involved the creation of custom wheels that maintained the instantly recognizable five-spoke, center-lock look, preserving the F40’s iconic appearance while ensuring adequate clearance for the improved brakes and tires. Following its mechanical evolution, 94647 shed its Rosso Corsa identity and was resprayed in Azzurro Hyperion—a timeless, understated Ferrari hue that perfectly accentuates the F40’s sharp, purposeful lines. The result is the appropriately named “Blue Chip 40,” a unique reinterpretation of Ferrari’s most visceral icon, blending raw performance with modern usability and unmistakable presence. Prior to receiving its modifications, in 2013, 94647 was Ferrari Classiche Certified with its Red Book and COA noting that the body, chassis, engine, and other components remained original. Now offered from a significant private collection, 94647 is further accompanied by its original warranty and service manual, original gearbox, libretto, collection of UK V5s and MOTs confirming its mileage accruement, and service invoices dating back over two decades».
