Lamborghini Espada – erste Serie

Chassis-Nummer: 7132 (1969)

Steht zum Verkauf bei We are Curated (März 2025), mit diesen Informationen: «This example, finished in Blue Spettrale Metalizzato over Pelle Naturale, captures the essence of the early Espada design. As a Series 1, it features the original aluminum dashboard and narrower grille openings, details that changed in later models. Fully restored to its original specifications, this Espada reflects Lamborghini’s ambition in the late 1960s.»

Chassis-Nummer: 7216 (1969)
Auktion: Bonhams, Goodwood 2019, verkauft für 89’700 Pfund, mit diesen Informationen: «Built to European specification in Sant’Agata Bolognese and delivered new to France, this Series I Espada comes with a large file of bills dating back to 1998. Over €108,000 worth of work has been carried out on the car since 1998, including overhauls to the engine, gearbox and clutch undertaken by P3 Automobiles of Cannes in 2009 totalling €30,500 as well as benefitting from the care of Lamborghini specialists Michel Mercier Automobiles in Paris and Automobili Lamborghini. In 2016 the car was repainted in its original Bianco (white) livery by Carrosserie Martin in Paris and a ceramic coating was applied to the paintwork in 2017. A ‚Rapport D’Evaluation‘ by Cerede Bonoron Expertises in 2017 describes the vehicle to be ‚in a very satisfactory condition both mechanically and in the bodywork and saddlery‘. Other recent work saw the carpets reconditioned, including in the trunk. The only deviations from standard are the fitting of air conditioning and a key circuit breaker for added security. Chassis number ‚7216‘ belonged to French collector Mr Vincent Pierrat from 1998 to 2017 when it passed via a Mr Poujol to the current vendor. Since then the engine has been overhauled again (by Revolution Vehicles in the UK) as the car had been standing, unused, for some time (see bill for £13,000 on file).»

Chassis-Nummer: 7722

Auktion: Gooding Christie’s, Paris 2026, Schätzpreis 175’000 bis 225’000 Euro, no reserve, mit diesen Angaben: «The Espada offered here is a first-series example, of which only 186 were built. Outwardly, the first-series Espadas featured slats across the vertically mounted rear glass, and inside, their instrument binnacles had a stylized double-octagon shape similar to that of the Marzal. Finished in its stunning original shade of Azzurro Mexico (Mexico Blue), this example is accented by a spacious blue leather interior. Joining the consignor’s collection in 2018, the Lamborghini has been the subject of a highly detailed restoration and presents particularly well. This Espada showed 5,888 km on its odometer when catalogued, presumably the distance it has traveled since its restoration was completed.»

Da kommt dann im Lauf der Zeit: mehr. Mehr Lamborghini gibt es im Archiv.
