Aston Martin Valkyrie – eine Sammlung

Mit Verspätung

Im Juli 2016 präsentierte Aston Martin, schon damals nicht gerade auf Rosen gebettet, das Projekt AM-RB 001. Es war eine ehrgeizige Vorgabe, Zusammenarbeit mit Red Bull, Rimac, Cosworth und anderen Grössen der Branche – und das Leistungsgewicht sollte, trotz Strassenzulassung, unter einem Kilo pro PS liegen. Die ganze Entwicklung zog sich dann ein bisschen hin, es gab noch den einen und auch anderen Skandal, erst Ende 2021 wurden die ersten der 150 geplanten Fahrzeuge (plus 85 Spider plus 25 Pro, ein reines Track-Tool)) ausgeliefert. Es war dann aber schon ein grobes Gerät, unterdessen Valkyrie genannt, frei saugender 6,5-Liter-V12 mit 1015 PS bei 10600/min, dazu ein bisschen Strom, Systemleistung 1155 PS und 924 Nm, in 2,5 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h, bei 355 km/h elektronisch abgeregelte Höchstgeschwindigkeit. Aber das darf man für einen Basispreis von 3,5 Millionen Dollar auch erwarten. Wie immer bei Aston Martin: ausverkauft.

Wir wollen auch hier, wie bei anderen Hypercars, rechtzeitig mit einer Sammlung beginnen. Das hat auch den Vorteil, dass man Details bewundern kann, die man auf den bekannten Pressebildern nicht immer zu sehen bekommt. Ausserdem können wir so die Preisentwicklung beobachten.

Auktion: Bonhams, Bonmont 2025, Schätzpreis 2,6 bis 2,9 Mio Franken, mit diesen Informationen: «Built to German specification, this particular Valkyrie was delivered new in Monaco to former Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg on the 30th June 2022. The car is finished in Magnetic Silver with ‚6‘ decals, this being the number used by Rosberg when he won the Formula 1 World Championship driving a Mercedes ‚Silver Arrow‘ in 2016. The paintwork benefits from the application of a protective film while the car’s software was updated by the factory in May 2025. The Valkyire is still under warranty, which expires in June 2026, and also comes with its specification sheet, Certificate of Conformity, and original purchase invoice made out to Nico Rosberg. It also comes with the original case for the steering wheel and keys, as well as the case for the second set of seats for taller drivers». Viel gefahren ist das Weltmeisterchen damit nicht.

Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Dubai 2024, verkauft für 3’070’625 Dollar, mit folgenden Informationen: «Presented with only 123 kilometres on its odometer at the time of cataloguing, this example cuts a menacing presence finished in Scintilla Silver with contrasting Speed Red detailing. This includes a satin and gloss graphics package from the Q personalisation division that incorporates a full-length body stripe, and pinstripes for the front splitter, side sill and rear diffuser. Other well-chosen options that enhance the Valkyrie visually are the exposed gloss carbon fibre twill roof and engine cover, Matte Black magnesium performance wheels with red brake callipers, and Zircotec Black exhaust pipes. Inside, the expertly packaged two-person cabin blends black Alcantara, exposed satin carbon fibre twill and Spicy Red Alcantara to deliver a colour scheme that perfectly complements the exterior. And there’s no escaping that the environment has been created for racing, with the carbon shell seats accompanied by a black six-point harness, and a low oblong-shaped steering wheel—fitted with titanium toggle switches in this instance—providing a constant reminder of its racing underpinnings. Auktion: Artcurial, St. Tropez Garden Party 2025, Schätzpreis 2,9 bis 3,4 Mio Euro, mit diesen Informationen: «We are delighted to be able to present a truly extraordinary example of this model. Registered in December 2022 and sold by Aston Martin Monaco to its first owner (a private enthusiast), it has only travelled 1,555 km since new; it has never changed hands and has never been raced. It was delivered new with numerous options, such as a highly subtle “Q Satin Stirling Green” paint finish, an exposed carbon fiber roof and engine bonnet, titanium wing badges, “Zircotec Black” exhaust pipes, matte black magnesium wheels with custom hubs, black brake calipers with carbon fiber discs, carbon fiber interior trim, etc. Interested buyers are encouraged to consult the car’s file for the full list of options. It is worth mentioning that this Valkyrie benefits from an “Enthusiast Service Plan” contract with the manufacturer, which was invoiced at €156,000 excluding VAT. The car has already been serviced three times, in accordance with the manufacturer’s servicing plan. Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, London 2025, Schätzpreis 2,25 bis 2,75 Millionen Pfund, mit diesen Informationen: «One of just 25 customer cars built in right-hand drive, the Valkyrie Coupé offered here is sure to stop people in their tracks wherever it is driven or displayed. The bespoke “Anemos” (appropriately for a car that manipulates the air so heavily, it means “wind” in Greek) configuration worn by this example added an astonishing £500,000 to the original list price of £2.5 million plus taxes. Such a premium reflects the purple-tinted exposed carbon fibre applied to the upper body surfaces, while the lower sections present with a gloss finish. The Mokume Carbon Fibre package was also selected. Created by the Aston Martin design studio, this extends to the inner scoop of the headlights, sidepod vanes, armrest, central interior vent, and the steering wheel face plate. Additionally, the roof and engine cover are specified in gloss carbon fibre. But, in the case of chassis number 70123, its most notable exterior attributes surely come in the form of the 24-carat gold leaf accents. These run across the edges of the front splitter, side of the downforce-generating floor, and rear diffuser, over the front bodywork, and around the canopy. This is complemented by the gold “Anemos” decals placed behind the side windows. Furthermore, the winged Aston Martin badge and honeycomb wheels are also gold to match. Preserving its unique appearance, the Valkyrie benefits from paint-protection film. The pared-back interior of this car is no less striking. The carbon-fibre seat shells are upholstered with purple Alcantara padding, featuring gold stitching and embroidery for the “Anemos” script on the race-style harnesses and Aston Martin logo on the headrests. Similarly, the toggles on the steering wheel to select the drive mode, stability control, and operate the windscreen wipers, plus the engine start button, are also presented in gold. Wearing a unique colour scheme, here is one of the most extensively optioned Valkyries ever devised. Completed in January 2024 ahead of being registered by its sole, commissioning owner in March 2024, the car displayed—per the odometer located on the screen of the F1-inspired steering wheel—a mere 112 miles at the time of cataloguing. It is under manufacturer warranty until the end of January 2027 and further eligible for a two-year extension as part of Aston Martin’s three-tiered, five-year service plan, available separately». Der erste Besitzer hat sicher mehr Zeit mit der Konfiguration des als im Fahrzeug verbracht. Und ein so richtiges gutes Geschäft wird das wohl auch nicht – über 3 Millionen bezahlt (plus Steuern), jetzt für etwas über 2 Millionen im Angebot.
