Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Arizona 2024, verkauft für 2’012^500 Dollar, mit diesen Informationen: «The Speedtail was only made available to customers pre-selected by McLaren, and this particular example—number 69—is in impeccable, as-new condition throughout, having been driven a mere 54 miles by the time of cataloguing. Remarkably, the interior retains some of the protective plastic and wrappings. As shown on its Carfax report, all servicing and inspections to date have been completed exclusively by authorized McLaren facilities in West Palm Beach Florida. Delivered new via McLaren—The Collection of Coral Gables in August 2020, as noted on its manufacturer statement of origin, the unique appeal of Speedtail number 69 comes through in its striking, bespoke color combination of Liquid Blue Silver paint over Rich Blue and Gray full aniline leather upholstery. The car’s accompanying sales order shows an original sticker price of £2.097 million (~$2.726 million), which included £347,750 (~$452,075) in bespoke optional equipment. (Currency conversions are approximate and calculated using a historical mid-market exchange rate from December 2019.) An impressive selection of polished Zircon trim, aluminum, titanium, and carbon-fiber flourishes augment the car’s unique appeal. Within its futuristic cabin, the sumptuous two-tone full aniline leather extends beyond the seats to the headliner, kick panels, and even the door sills, with bespoke stitching and quilting to elevate the presentation. Of particular mention among the array of exquisite trim is the Thin Ply Technology (TPT) carbon-fiber applied to the steering wheel and ceiling-mounted, switchgear console. This option alone, whose intricate marbled patterning creates a stunning jewel-like effect, added £50,000 (~$65,000) to the sticker price. The calipers were custom-specified in Liquid Blue Silver and are housed within 10-spoke Diamond Cut lightweight wheels. Concealing those at the front axle are distinctive, aerodynamic “speed covers” fashioned of 1,000-strand, exposed, gloss carbon fiber perfectly color-matched to the car’s ground effects, which subtly contrast with the rest of the beautiful bodywork. The car’s exterior badging is handsomely rendered in machined aluminum, as is most of its elegant brightwork. The exhaust, neatly integrated into the rear diffuser and nearly hidden from view, is finished in natural Titanium. This Speedtail is accompanied by a car cover, a chassis-numbered tool kit, wireless base charger, and a factory luggage case. Notably, it will be sold under a Manufacturer Statement of Origin and is eligible for road use in the United States under the “show or display” federal exemption».

The car’s accompanying sales order shows an original MSRP of £1.836 million (~$2.326 million), with exactly £86,000 (~$107,363) in bespoke optional equipment from McLaren Special Operations. A comprehensive suite of polished Zircon trim, aluminum, titanium, and visual carbon fiber flourishes add a uniform appeal to Speedtail number 72’s unique exterior and interior themes. In addition to these extras, the car has since been fitted with the MSO center roof scoop made available to Speedtail owners as a post-delivery upgrade. The functional carbon fiber roof scoop is reminiscent of the McLaren F1 and costs in excess of $100,000. This chassis’ exterior is finished in blue stained carbon fiber with the dramatic MSO Contour Paint Effect at a cost of £80,000 (nearly $110,000). The blue carbon fiber fades to clear gloss carbon fiber in the side scoops, on the front bumper, and front hood scoops, nicely tying into the gloss carbon wheel covers, diffuser, and front splitter. The 10-spoke wheels are blue with a diamond cut, and the McLaren Orange brake calipers contrast well against the blue carbon fiber bodywork. A comprehensive suite of Zircon trim, aluminum, and titanium flourishes add a uniform appeal to both exterior and interior. Inside, the Speedtail’s next-gen dashboard and distinctive three-seat cockpit are trimmed in stunning black and blue Aniline leather. Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Amelia 2022, verkauft für 2’700’000 Dollar, mit diesen Informationen: «This Speedtail offered here is the 87th example produced, and it is finished in the striking MSO color combination of Heritage Gloss Steel Blue over Semi-Aniline Metallic Blue Silver leather. It was ordered new by the consignor via Miller McLaren of Greenwich, Connecticut in March 2020, and was the second Speedtail imported to the United States. The car’s accompanying sales order shows an original MSRP over £2 million, with nearly £262,000 in bespoke optional equipment from McLaren Special Operations. In a fitting tribute to the Speedtail’s place as the spiritual successor to the F1, this car’s stunning exterior color is a direct homage to F1 chassis number 036, which was originally commissioned by former McLaren majority shareholder and company director, Mansour Ojjeh. A comprehensive suite of polished Zircon trim, aluminum, titanium, and visual carbon fiber flourishes add a uniform appeal to this Speedtail’s unique exterior and interior themes. As highlighted by its accompanying order form, the set of silver painted brake calipers are housed within the matching set of Gloss Silver-finished wheels. The distinctive “speed covers” on the front wheels are fashioned of 1,000-strand gloss visual carbon fiber, which exactly matches the appointment of the engine bay surround and rear contrast panel. The car’s exterior badging is handsomely rendered in machined aluminum, as is most of its elegant brightwork. Inside its next-gen cabin, the carbon fiber steering wheel is appointed with a touch of contrasting McLaren orange leather; it fronts a suite of five digital displays, and the two elements are interceded by a pair of billet titanium paddle shifters».

Chassis-Nummer: 106
Verkauft über Tom Hartley Jr. (als Teil der Mansour-Ojjeh-Sammlung), mit diesen Angaben: «Each Speedtail was individually commissioned and tailor-built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), however this example is the final Speedtail ever produced and it boasts a huge array of bespoke specifications. It features a one-off MSO commission of extraordinary depth and craftsmanship, combining cutting-edge materials with an obsessive attention to bespoke detail. The exterior is finished in ‘Mansour Orange‘ a custom MSO bespoke paint, gloss finished 1K weave visual carbon fibre (VCF) elements are extensively applied across the bodywork, including the contrast panels, engine cover, luggage bin, and tool kit cover – all crafted to reduce weight while delivering unmatched visual sophistication. Highlighting McLaren’s innovation in materials science, the front badge is rendered in carbon TPT (Thin Ply Technology) with a Platinum inlay, a weaving method that layers ultra-thin carbon plies at 45° angles to create a distinctive marbled effect, usually reserved for high-end horology. This rare TPT finish also features in select interior “jewellery” elements, elevating both tactility and exclusivity. Rear McLaren and model badges are executed in solid Platinum, while exterior brightwork is completed in a brushed and polished dual finish, further distinguishing this Speedtail’s silhouette. The calipers are specified in a bespoke MSO colour with machined logos, complemented by gloss painted 10-spoke lightweight wheels and centre-lock nuts and a natural Titanium exhaust finisher completes the exterior’s technical allure. Inside, the cabin is a study in elegance and restraint with a full aniline leather upholstery meticulously hand-stitched with bespoke detailing and quilted inserts, while the painted edge work and contrast stitching echo the exterior’s custom palette. The seating position is flanked by a centre-mounted carbon black Alcantara driver’s seat and carbon fibre passenger pods, delivering a distinctly asymmetric composition. Interior surfaces feature satin-finished 1K weave visual carbon fibre (VCF), contrasted by bespoke brightwork in Zircon and brushed dark orange tones. Sill plates are backlit and micro-perforated, while the dedication plate carries personalised wording, a subtle nod to the unique provenance of this particular Speedtail with final touches including the MSO branded throttle pedal and DNR bezel. It comes with its handbooks including the service/warranty supplement, spare key, HV charger, car cover and history file.»
