Auktion: Brooks, Genf 1999, verkauft für 167’000 Franken (plus Aufschlag). Dann: Gooding Christie’s, Paris 2026, Schätzpreis 3,25 bis 3,75 Millionen Euro, mit diesen Angaben: «According to factory records, this Miura P400 SV, chassis 4908, was completed on July 29, 1971, assigned production no. 646, and corresponding Bertone body no. 746. Finished in the striking color scheme of Giallo Fly (Fly Yellow) over black vinyl with blue cloth inserts, this early-production, European-specification example was delivered new to Switzerland and retailed by the noted Zürich agent Garage Foitek. The authoritative Lamborghini Miura Register records that 4908 was supplied to its first owner via Ruf AG, the famed German Porsche specialist, before passing in 1977 to a local body shop owner who retained it for more than two decades. In 1999, it was acquired by its current Swiss owner at the Brooks Geneva Auction, showing just 24,660 km at the time. For the past 25 years, chassis 4908 has remained in the same discreet private collection. Early in its tenure, it was displayed for several years in a Geneva museum, though it has been kept largely out of public view in more recent times. Today, the Miura presents as a well-maintained and authentic example. Significantly, it retains its original matching-numbers engine (30650), and all major body panels – including both clamshells and doors – are correctly stamped with Bertone body no. 746. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer displayed just 25,553 km, consistent with its limited use under the current long-term ownership.»
